The Polka Dot Lioness
I seam to be surrounded by polka dots, sometimes they are everywhere I look…
The Polka Dot Lioness is the ruler of her kingdom. She does not take no for an answer. She is the first spread in my altered art journal book…
The altered book that is overflowing with polka dots, from start to finish (even though the cover is spray painted with hearts. Here’s a peek into it’s two first pages:
Pink polka dot stickers on the title page, and a printed stamp found somewhere on the internet many years ago that says Altered book by. I should design my own for next book, because I don’t know where I found this and I don’t want it as a stamp anyways. Let me know if you want a printable similar to this one for your book and maybe I can share mine with you guys. Here’s the first real art journal spread in the book:
The text on the spread reads: Early voyage of discovery on the left and then, smaller on the right: I almost dare not breath. You know the feeling?
And also on my desk, the left over hearts from the spray painting project. I want to create something with these for Valentines next year.
And remember:
Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

Love your polka dots, Hanna, and the fun project you have underway here. Inspiring quotation from Steve Jobs, as well.
I have two of those stamps one for book and one for cards. I am worried your liuness does not look very comfortable :)
