Index Card | Last pile of the year

Another Pile of Index card done and finished - yay (index card a day collage) #dyicad #ICAD

The j-months of summer is over already, and it’s high time to wrap this project up. I finished all my index cards this year, which feels great.

They’re mostly colorful, playful collages with some paint splattered on here and there. June and July, that’s 61 index cards, in case you’re wondering. How many finished cards are in your pile?

Index Card July 22 by iHanna: Listen to your muse!

I did not create them daily, and in July I made them mostly as a weekly batch. But who cares, they’re all done by yours truly and during the summer months. Index-card-a-day is not a strict challenge with many rules, and I like making up my own rules anyway.

Index Card July 23 by iHanna: Watercolor doodles.

See the black lettering, done with my brush letter? Haha, I’m practicing (a little). At least trying to use the pen I bought for that purpose.

And here’s another index card with “interactive elements”, showing some hidden text under the vellum flip-up;

July 26 ICAD double up by iHanna (index card a day collage) #dyicad #ICAD
Index Card July 26 by iHanna: 13 kilo. That’s how much textile each person buys in Sweden each year. Only 20 percent of it is recycled. Sad to know, but I think we can do a lot better from now on.

July 27 ICAD by iHanna (index card a day collage) #dyicad #ICAD
Index Card July 27 by iHanna: Llama row.

July 28 ICAD by iHanna (index card a day collage) #dyicad #ICAD
Index Card July 28 by iHanna: Hans Rosling. Because he was such a cool guy.

That’s all of my index cards for the year. Now I’m totally ready to move on to other things.
