There were no rainbows today, so I created my own
Big girl toys with candy – bought at a cruise this month.
Taking a photo of one hand with the other hand is difficult. I love this one though. So far 2009 is not my art journaling year but today I’ve made a page from start to finish, and that’s unusual these days.
Bookmark tails with yummy rainbow yarn, made for me by Chris. Beautiful huh?
I got this box in the mail one day. It was filled whit little girly gifts from my blog friend Chris. My sockmonkey Wendela wanted to hold on to it, but I reclaimed it and opened it up…
Inside there was this miniature tea set for dolls. It has a pumpkin bowl, a sewing machine jug, a pair of cotton reel mugs and yes indeed, quilted plates! Tea for a tiny seam mistress. Isn’t it cute? Wanna join me?
Theme today is rainbows and colors, so why not a photo of this beautiful painting that Jenny Bergvall in Sweden sent me:
This acrylic painting is called Queen of my home and it sparkles! It is not only creative and fun, it is experimental as it has rub on decorations, lace, scrapbook papers (Jenny is a scrapbook gal), bead and glitter! I get inspired by looking at it. Plus, it came with the coolest homemade card I’ve ever gotten (haha, I do not know enough scrappers obviously):
Card that Jenny made for me. Merry Christmas – yes, I got it before Christmas but I wanted to share it even though I’m late.
There were no rainbows today, so I created my own. This is prep photo for the Diptych Project that I wrote about yesterday. See our day 3 (rainbows) diptych at flickr as soon as I get Sophie’s photo!
And because the theme of today’s blog post is three folded with
1) my newisly found love for photography,
2) being thankful and
3) rainbows and colors that sparkle, I’m signing out with this photo of our fruit bowl…
Colorful/rainbowy, huh? A fruit a day keeps the doc away!

It’s all candy for the eyes!
I’ve taken a few photos for today but I didn’t have time to upload and edit them yet and I have to go back to work. So you’ll see them much later. I also had to create my own rainbows…
I love the photo of the fruit bowl! Looks so juicy and happy!
