Going to the Ocean

If you follow me on instagram you might have noticed I traveled by boat over the long weekend, just like I did last year. I visited the Swedish island Gotland again, to craft, embroider, eat, talk and laugh among friends. I mostly used by big camera, and took lots and lots of new favorite photos as well as starting about 10 new craft projects (non of which I completed). I wanted to share a few of my perspectives from the ocean with you guys today, mostly looking down at the variety of it all…

I want to remind myself, and you too if you need it, that we don’t need to travel far, or even to another country to experience new things, to marvel at the magic of nature or to find photo opportunities everywhere we look… It’s in the eye of the beholder. Wonder is in the moment. And if there is some sunshine all the better…

Not sure what I will do with all these photos, but I would like to share a few more so hope you guys want to see more views of Gotland?

Tomorrow it’s June 6: National Day of Sweden. I think photos are the best celebration of a place, so I will go out on new adventures tomorrow. Might hum a bit of this song, in Swedish:
