Katze and her katze person
A peek into my open Art Journal.
A bird is singing outside my window. I have a sketch I did on a post-it-note at work, but it doesn’t guide me. I am guide-less, on a journey to paint something.
Since the move this is actually the first time I took out my acrylic paint bottles and painted something. I created a cat, inside my journal.
And of course, her person is a cat person, just like me. But bald, for some reason.
Painting is strange, but wonderful!

How wonderful you are a free spirit! To see such beauty and then paint it out…
I am still looking for Jane Davies, book, you suggested…I enjoy visiting.

i love these pages! the simplicity is soothing and the colors calm but rich.. and the bitty bursts of pink are lovely.
Congrats for getting the paints back out again…feels good, doesn’t it? I’ve been working in paper, glue, and tape; I could stand to pull my paints out again, too! Love your journal spread…thanks for the peek into your journal.
Love, love, love it!
Isn’t it wonderful to play with paint, again :]
Enjoy, your journal page looks fantastic.
Oh Hanna I missed you!!
IN LOVE with your painting. Love!
I’m sure your paints are so happy to be out in the fresh air! It is interesting to see what you paint ~ the textured cats ~ after a long break from painting. They are unique just like you!
