Spiral bound Pink Smart Journal
I had to make a pink smart journal along with the lush green one. This one is listed for sale in my etsy shop right now. Today I’m showing you a few of my favorite spreads from this journal. Enjoy!
Front and back cover is paper patchwork style. Love this cover!
Pink is my all time favorite colour, one that I’m always drawn to and that fills many pages of my own journal! I hope that this journal will be used to sketch in, to write, paint, cut&paste and play on every page.
I would like to colour these kitties, using watercolours I think, and then journal all around the edges of the page.. What would you do with it?
This smart journal is 6.2 x 6,2 inches (16 x 16 centimeters) and has about sixty pages.
More pink flowers, on black. YuM!
Hearts on transparent vellum (left) and spraypaint and clippings (right). Make your creative garden grow!
All hand picked and spiral bound at home, by yours truly.
And it has a envelope pocket in the back, with “extras”. It’s a one of a kind journal, you can grab it here.
Here is a slideshow with all its pages in random order:
I use both altered books, handmade journals, thin notebooks and spiral bound books for my art making. Do you alternate too, or do you prefer one over the other?

I love this pink journal, I especially like the pink paper with red strawberries and the pocket in the back with extras, how neat.
Yes I am the same way, I can never just decide on one type of journal, I love trying them all! I think it can help to stretch the creativity to switch around and try different journals.
This post sent me to your green journal – and I was already buying it in my thoughts only to find out, it is already sold. So lovely the chosen papers.
Do you own a Bind-it-all? Or how do you wire?
I’m thinking so much about Stockholm lately. My beautiful light chain I bought in Gamla Stan makes my November happy and today I wandered around Hamburg already lit like wonderland. Water reflections like in Stockholm. I told my girlfriend about my Nov-Weekend some years ago in your town.
Best wishes
Tally
Tally, thanks!
Mine is not a bind-it-all but yes, some kind of binder is in my possession. ;-) I will take photos of the process when I make my next batch of books!
Sweden is just rain rain rain today, but once it stops I’ll take a walk in town and look at the lights for you. :-)
Do you like blue as much as green? I have a blue one that isn’t listed yet, and a mixed one with lots of different colours. Or I could make you a green one in about two weeks. Let me know.
Take care!
I am thinking of making a similar journal for a friend to give to her on her birthday. Your journals are encouraging me! Thanks for sharing.
lovely!!
So fun – I love how the colour theme pulls the journal together, but still gives lots of room for variety of papers
