Kantha Heart

I am obsessed with the up-and-down stitch known as kantha. I want to cover every surface with it, going up and down through layers of fabric to sew them together.

This heart is one of several living on an 8-patch thing, very inspired by darling Jude Hill and her Heart Diaries (Whispering Hearts free class). Mine is Sampler of Hearts – for now. I’ve had it going since October, and started several other thingies since.

I love handling this cloth, and letting it sooth me.
