Craft Tutorials I like – Sunday fun (V)

My own brain is to me the most unaccountable of machinery – always buzzing, humming, soaring roaring diving, and then buried in mud. And why? What’s this passion for?
Virginia Woolf

Messy me
My messy bed table – a photo that could be a print of the mess in my head on some days! :-)

And some tutorials, you know you want to make something today. Just pick one and go go go!

In the tutorial above Diane did paper-dolls
with images of real peoples heads. Diane’s card came to mind when I saw a collection of extremely cool cards at the Bildmuseum in Umeå this summer. This was the one I bought:

Mrs Woolf
Virginia Woolf as a paper card! Isn’t it the coolest card ever? Ever? I was going to hang it on my inspiration board, but when I opened the plastic I noticed that it’s a double card so you can actually stand it up on your table! The card came with sticker quotes that are called Quotable Notables! I want to collect all of the cards but I especially want Oscar Wilde, Mona Lisa, Dorothy Parker – and Shakespeare of course! But I should make some myself too, I think paper dolls are way fun!

I want “something” from the journal section of the site where I found information about the cards, such pretty notebooks there! I like the one with a frog, and the quote covered ones. Yummy journals! :-)

I made Valentine Cards (2007) where I used a photo of my own head! My big b/w smiling and kissing head, hehe.

They look like this:
A lot of me
Silly Hanna, right? I know two of them are still hanging on though (one on little brothers wall and one in grandma’s kitchen!).

Smooches ya’all!!
