Knitty Free Patterns for winter

I found Banff in the great online magazine Knitty where free patterns are the thing. Free knitting patterns are so great. It’s exactly what I want to knit right now. Something cozy, warm, big, mellow to do. So even if it’s from last year I want to wear it this winter, coming up fast with winds and painting the trees yellow outside.

Knitty offers many FREE patterns for example Knitty free patterns like Banff and more (screen dump)

The Banff pattern, found at Knitty, is made of Soho Bulky Tweeded Yarn that is $8.99 at the site Deluxe Yarns, but I can’t find the color green that I want… And for the Fletcher it takes seven skeins, that is $63 (455,00 sek). But do they deliver to Sweden?

I would also be so happy if someone would give me a bag of yarn for a Hamilton Design sweater called Fletcher (made from the Japanese yarn called Iro #9. I want!). How much Iro would cost at Strikkdesign I don’t know, but at Hamilton nine skeins of Fletcher is 1638 sek (220 USD)!

So, on the other hand, I will keep looking. Free patterns are so great, but the yarn is expensive and time consuming to find. I don’t need it to be wool I guess, just something that is cozy and warm. And not so darn expensive.
