Cast on 90 stitches

Time to cast on!

11 minutes past midnight and it is time to cast on for the knit-a-long. I am so very ready!

After TV last night I went to bed with five knitting sticks and black wool yarn to cast on 90 stitches before going to sleep. See, there is the clock – I didn’t start in advance!

Ribbing in black is the start of the very-long-sock knit-along I am part of, the rest of the sock will be much more colorful.

And this is tonight; 15 rows of k1 p2 (knit 1, purl 1) in the ribbing. I’m ready for a good movie, some green tea – and some knitting.

What about you?

  1. Hi Hanna

I just came across your blog, and I love it! You have great style, and your crafting is very cool. I shall be visiting again!

I found you when I Googled my name during lunch today (I was bored!); I’m Trudie Bamford, who wrote the book Viva Vintage, which you mentioned in one of your posts. Thank you so much for recommending it, and I think its so cool its in your library!

Since you are into crafting, knitting, etc, you might be interested in my new website, Hip Knits, which sells unusual yarns online, some of which are unavailable in Europe. Come and visit me!

    Keep up the crafty goodness,

    Hugs, Trudie
