New Scrapbook Papers

I got new scrapbook papers, wanna see?

I love pretty papers, all of them. But sometimes I think that it’s the searching and finding them that is the most fun. If you keep your eyes open there are pretty papers everywhere, not just new scrapbook papers like these, but in everyday life.

You can use anything in your collage artwork, like wrapping paper, tickets, brown paper, tissue paper, magazine pages, newspaper print, candy bags, and if you have the nerve, pages from old books that nobody will read again anyway.

But then again, sometimes you fall into the consumer trapdoor and have to buy something new and shiny – like these scrapbooking papers that I found in Umeå’s newest little shop in June.

Yes, we got a scrapbook shop here, believe it or not, in a very small space but with a nice atmosphere and lots of yummy shelves to browse. And they have classes too.

Collecting Pretty Papers

I collect pretty papers and have a wonderful stash of scrapbook papers and other papers. I love wall papers a lot, esp colorful ones.
