Smiling crow painting
I’ve made a painting! It looks like this:
It’s a smiling crow painted in gouache tempera on canvas (23×30 cm), with collaged flowers on top (with papers from a vintage music sheet). It was so interesting to see it grow out of a sketch (you might recognize its origins from a postal stamp image I posted a while back – one that many of you liked). I can’t believe it’s me who made this!
That is so cute! I love the colors you chose–so vibrant!
Wonderful! What a great way to brighten up a room! What are you going to do with it? Any ideas?
Oh, it’s lovely! Gorgeous colours and I really like the stylised way you have presented the crow – it’s really sweet. I like your blog too by the way – that cottage you stayed in recently looks so beautiful and idealic!
I like your painting. Isn’t that a great feeling when you try to make something and it turns out?
Also, wanted to mention that my grandma had one of those address things like you found at the flea market too. She lived in Ohio, USA. Small world, no?
Hanna, your painting is so awesome! I love the colors and flowers so much! Wonderful! :)
I love it too!!
