An Etsy Treasury list

I’ve created my first Etsy Treasury list, a tool where you get to promote stuff sold on different stores together. It was kind of fun.

Aren’t all of the things I picked so pretty and springy?

What is the Treasury then? Read on:

My first Treasury at Etsy
The Treasury is a member- curated gallery of short-lived lists of 12 hand-picked items each (plus four alternates). It functions as a high-demand (and pretty!) promotional tool that many devoted Etsians fight to get.” [from How to make a Treasury]

I didn’t know what it was
until I listened to the CraftyPod show Marketing your art and crafts where Ryan McAbery gives a lot of nice tips about how to sell successfully at Etsy. I have a lot to learn for sure!

I checked out the Etsy Treasury and since I love lists I felt it would be fun to make one. There are just so many things at Etsy that I wish I could afford to buy! The first time I visited there were 470 lists there (!) but the second time I checked in it had only 335 lists so I waited until it went below 333 and then I could make a list of my own! So I didn’t put in a lot of work to make this one and I don’t know if any of the items I’ve listed will be sold or if I have gotten any visits to my shop from this. But it’s worth a try, right?

This is for sale at my own etsy shop:
Hello Kitty amore necklace
Hello Kitty necklace I’ve made, check it out and the bracelet that goes with it! It’s in my Etsy shop! Thanks for your support!

and this Hello Kitty bag too:

Hello Kitty bag 2This is not the Hello Kitty bag I made in December last year, I’m using that every day and it’s a keeper. This is a second one I did with a brown polka dot fabric on the sides. Isn’t it pretty? I really like this style and hope that it will find a new home just like the Flamingo bag did! If you are interested read more about it in my Etsy Shop!

I’ve been accepted as a member of the Etsy team Creative Scandinavians today too. Other teams can be found here. Anyone else on a team? Let me know! And let me know if you make a Treasury list, I’ll come visit and comment it! If you want to comment on my Treasury log into your Etsy account and visit my list Green and Pink is spring before it disappear tomorrow! You can also view all of my Etsy favorites, there are some yummy stuff I think you’ll like there toO!

More tips about selling and promoting your Etsy you’ll find at Ryan’s blog Littleput, and in case you want to check out my Etsy Shop you can too – yay!

Oh; this blog is now E rated! Thank you Kathy.
