Craft and life is one – weekly link love with stars

I add new blogs to my Link Love Page all the time, as I find them. I’ve done that for years so my list is huge by now. When I add a new to me blog I change the name in my blogroll so that it has a star (*) in front of the name. In this way I’m marking it NEW to me.

I’m removing the stars now and starting over. I’m posting these as the look about inspiration today, because I love to share. I don’t want you to miss these gems among the others. All of these blogs are fantastic!

Life and craft is one

Art tea life (arttealife.blogspot.com) – is a blog filled with art journal pages that sparkle. And you know I am a fan of getting to take a peak into other’s art journals.

Pink Penguin – Ayumi is Japanese woman and her blog is full of sewing and beautiful quilts!

November moon (url replaced with spam) – Cathy is a productive artist that makes art dolls, machine embroidery and drawings. She posts way too much for me to keep up with, but I adore her art work and style.

Dancing Mermaid (url removed) – a woman that takes romantic photos of children, art and life. I love her idea of addressing the year in a New Year’s Letter (for example in her “dear 2008 new years letter”), that’s what I did too this year.

Craft actually (craftactually.com) is Helen’s blog where she posts a lot about her new baby right now. Helen is the wonderful crafter who created my green and pink knitting needle holder. Mmm!

Life Unfolds (previously at blog.unfoldingyourlifevision.com) – Jennifer Lee has that kind of blog I just need to follow because it’s about creativity, business, writing and art all at once! I wish I knew how to do it and make it sustainable for me. Find the balance in the flow, but since I don’t know how I keep returning to learn from Jennifer on her blog.

Listen to the Big Vision Podcast as well, where Jennifer is talking about how to make your big visions real , she sounds sweet [found via the Have fun do good blog].

Spirit Cloth – Jude is one of those people who is so productive you wouldn’t believe it if she didn’t also post all those photos of her artsy quilts with embroidery and applique? I adore her style so much, I can look at her photos for ages. Also check out her blog What if…, it’s about challenging yourself and experimenting with your fabric. Saying What if I do something different and new with this material… what if?

Miss-frugality (miss-frugality.blogspot.com) is Julia’s blog about sewing and craft. Lots of pretty things to be inspired by there.

Kara – old lady (oldladyinateenager.blogspot.com) – I like her blog but I don’t think it’s fair that a teenager can take such creative photos. It just make us oldies feel left behind… :-)

Lindamade (lindamade.wordpress.com) – Linda Permann makes those kind of colorful crafts that totally speaks to me. She does quilting and knits beautiful hats and takes great photos. Her blog makes me happy.

Ornamental (ornamental.typepad.com)- Nina Bagley’s blog is magical because she makes up jewelry, new words, and has a photo style all of her own. A must read!

Confessions of a Pioneer Woman – Ree has a blog that I subscribe to just because I can’t believe this way of living exist and I guess most of us can’t… She lives on a farm with her cowboy men, rides horses, herd cattle and indeed has what looks to be a modern life prairie family in a not so little house. Ree does take great photos with her Nikon, and she even got A Photography Site with lots of lovely stuff to be inspired by! I have downloaded her Photoshop actions and I’m a big fan. It’s super fun (and easy) to play with them, applying them to different photos and see how it looks.

Piece of work (sarahbowen.typepad.com/blog) – Sarah Bowen is a scrapbook gal that also crafts, love her photos!

Oh, and I made a camera strap slipcover

Made by Petchy (madebypetchy.blogspot.com) – is a craft blog by Solveig in Norway. I recently used her tutorial on how to sew a camera strap slipcover!

I love having a flowery strap for my Nikon, it is so bright and fun!

I finally followed a blog tutorial that I bookmarked. I made this camera strap slipcover for my Nikon, and I love how it came out. Thanks Solveig.

Giggleface studios (www.gigglefacestudios.com no longer active) – Tracey makes pretty little things that makes me smile, mostly she is sewing fabrics together and making softies.

Last week was weekly lookabout was number one and called Innerpreneur & photography.

This week’s lookabout was this list of blogs that are new to my blogroll list. I hope you did enjoy them, and found inspiration to create – something.

Oh, and I also think you should look at Maria’s Umeå photos on her blog skapande.blogsome.com. And this beautiful YouTube video that I found, called “v is for valentine” made by a Lisa Viger Gotte. It’s about love.

And if you like giveaways Laura at Lady Lulu of ladylulu.wordpress.com (blogged 2008 to 2011) is having one. Check it out.
