The gift of 365 Beautiful Days filled with Happiness
Yes, 4! Four days of 2010 have passed and all of those four days have been good days. I received a text message on New Year’s Eve saying I was gifted 365 happy days to use at my own disposal during the New Year. What a beautiful gift! Each morning since I wake up and sat to myself:
– I think I’ll just go ahead today and use one of those happy days now, today seams like a perfect day for that! Then I smile and do just that.
I wish for you a year of Happiness and Everyday Beauty too!
It’s been extremely cold here in Sweden with lots of beautiful snow. Today the sun peeked through the window as I was sitting writing blog posts on the laptop with coffee by my side…
I just had to get up, fetch the camera and look out the window to snap some Everyday Magic Photos. These kind of photos are my favorite kind!
Depending on where you are, how you tilt your camera and how the light comes into the room you can change the ordinary and make it look magic. The light makes all the difference some days.
I’ve got several new notebooks. This one is dedicated to New Ideas and Blog post writing Ideas!
Another photo from today. This is my new embroidery floss bag, mom made it with the old one I had as a pattern. Isn’t it cute with the pink lace and filled with all that goodness? And my new scissors – love those!
I expect to write quite a few posts this year on embroidery soon, because I’m sewing almost every night. But next up, a review I should have written this summer…
Also, a big Thank You for all the great comments on my post Are you proud enough? I was surprised that so many of you, like me, keep your blog public on the internet but don’t tell people you see every day about it! Thanks for sharing all your stories with me!

Would you post a tutorial on some cool embroidery stiches ? one of the things I plan to do this year is learn to embroider….
No plan to post stitch tutorials but I will link you to a great resource though, it’s called Video Library of Hand Embroidery and it’s a great place to stitch around for a while. I need to pick up some new techniques from here ASAP too!
usually read along silently but I just LOVE your curtain fabric so much I had to mention it! Now it is time to stop gloating over my new notebooks and start the process of filling them …
Such wonderful photos and words! I?m looking forward to following all of your projects in the upcoming year.
Best wishes Anette Linnea

K?rlek till dig!
Wow! I’m totally enjoying your blog! Just browsing around I’ve loved the links, and I love the idea of having a journal just for blogging! I’m pretty new to the whole blog thing, I’m learning so much. I look forward to reading more great posts during Creative Every Day 2010!
This post, these pictures, you … All so inspiring.
Lovely photos! My favourite is the coffee cup in front of what looks like a very warm and cosy room.
What a beautiful curtain you have!!
I love it! The Gift of 365 Days filled with Happiness!!
I had to laugh too at that. My dil had written something
in Swedish and I thought she said, something about us
needing to rally for happiness. She laughed. Thought it
was a good idea and than told me it was something
totally different that she had written.
Thanks for the emboridery link. I’d like to learn too!!
Have a God Blessed Happy Year!!!
