Collage: Mr. Walrus and his mustache
Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.

Hoppilandkalle, original art collage by iHanna. Available.
On the same vintage book page that I found the sweet imaginary boyfriend I found this older gentleman, an imaginary grandpa perhaps? I didn’t think much about the image at first but now I’m growing found of him too. I really like how this collage came out and it has become one of my favorites. I don’t know why I like it so much, maybe the combination of colours on an older gentleman, or maybe it is his brand new glasses that makes me smile? Or it might be his walrus mustache with its thick and brushy whiskers. I am tickled pink by all of it!
Here he is again, framed;
His name is Hoppilandkalle, some kind of skipper guy on a boat. I have no idea how to translate the word, or if there is a translation? But the Hoppilandkalle is the guy who jumps to the shore to fasten the boat I think… Anyway, it’s just what I’m calling this collage though maybe he should be more international and go by the name Mr. Walrus.
And a scan of the whole thing;
He is waiting to be loved, and he is available in my Etsy Shop right now! I’m not saying you need a man, just that sometimes it’s good to have wise old company on the journey… And I think it is time to set sails, don’t you?
