Watercolour flowers + blog inspiration
Another square collage 13×13 centimeters (5×5″) above. This is a water colour painting that has some collage bits too, just because I love those little papers. I was experimenting with this one and I think it turned out just the way I feel about spring: bright and happy. It can be found in my Etsy shop if you’re interested! :-)
Inspiring blogs
I find new and inspiring blogs all the time. Sometimes I stay a few months and then stop reading, other times I get addicted and come back over and over again hoping for new content. These are just a few of my recent findings, I thought I’d share them with you today in case you have some surfin’ time… They are all well worth visiting for quite a while, so get coffee and start clicking away!
- Paperclipping by Noell Hyman
I am not a traditional scrapbooker but lately I’ve been listening in to these podcast discussions and I love them! There is the Paperclipping Roundtable, a discussion about all things creative memory keeping, and there is the Digi Show where you’ll learn about fonts, programs, organizing photos, layout ideas etc. I listen while I do paper clipping, painting or drawing at my desk. Great shows! - the Smallest Forest by Natalie Quintos Uhing
Great photography of awesome handmade journals, crafts and life in general. I like Natalie’s style a lot! She makes craft into art. - Hell 2 breakfast also by Natalie Uhing
Natalie’s craft tutorial blog is just a must-visit place (right now!). A whole blog dedicated to tutorials, and great ones at that. I love her beautifully written craft mission, it’s about recycling. My favorite tutorial is her book headbands for book binding!
Have a blessed day!

Beautiful!
What a lovely piece! So timely for Spring… :)
I think that your watercolour flowers are very, very pretty.
I need some blog-spiration… okay, that sounds stupid. I need some INSPIRATION, so I’m off to look at your recommendations. Thank you!
Heavens! It’s a good thing I subscribe to your rss feed, or it might be weeks before I found out about this post. Am rather nervous and yet so thrilled to get a mention by you…thank you, sincerely. So happy (and relieved!) that you enjoy some of the nonsense I post, I am not half as dutiful a blogger as you. A little shocked that you are sending other readers my way…I feel like the housewife who gets very important visitors on the day when the house is a mess, the baby is screaming and the underwear is hanging in front of the fireplace to dry! :D Should really be writing more, and of better quality than I have, lately!
Cheers, my dear, and thank you again. I enjoy your posts and art journal photos so much, too. XX Nat
