Flower Border Doodle
Sometimes the pages intended for writing are filled with flowers, and my diary becomes a notebook of flower doodles…
I try to keep my doodles to the edges in this notebook, so that I will also have room for writing. It’s called the Happy Flower Garland Frame in the Craft-a-Doodle book. I just call it my beloved Flower Border Doodle…
The flower borders grow like a garden on drugs, and sometimes they take over.
It’s okay when it happens. I guess I don’t have much to say on a day like this. So I just follow along where my doodles take me…
Where does your doodle want to go today?

Love the doodle flowers. Are you going to colour them?
Thanks Bindu! Sometimes I color them with markers, but these are finished as is: black & white.
I draw a lot of flowers in my diary, too!
Sometimes they are part of a landscape with flowers, bees, and butterflies (and other animals, too), sometimes I draw floral borders like you do (I also like to add some fruits here and there).
My intentions are to draw something else, but after some experiemtents (geometrical decorations, objects, faux postage stamps) I alwas come back to my flowers :)
I love the tiny stripes on the petals of yours!!! :)
I did love the faux stamp idea, why not with flowers? Lots of things to doodle!
I just printed this post out for my daughter to see. She is trying to learn to draw and I know she would love this.
