Dear Photo Diary | Pumpkin Season

Gouachefarben experiment

Dear Photo Diary, last week was Week in the Life photo documentation week, but I didn’t join. I have way too many things on my to-do-list right now to add another big photo project (I did print my 2012 book last year, but so far I have not even started working on my 2013 one yet). Though I still take new photos, every week. I wish you could come sit by my side to see it all. Anyway, here are a few of my latest, autumn-pumpkin-fall-season photos, uploaded and ready to share. I hope you like ’em.

Pumpkin season

Experimenting with a set of new gouache paints that was gifted to me from a friend. Decorating the table with this one single pumpkin from my parent’s garden (that I snatched from mom’s decorations). Drinking iced coffee even when the weather is cold, because I’m crazy like that.

Documenting (or eating) other stuff on my table:

Apples from the garden
Ready set go
Pale but still blooming
Thinking that my Geranium is the kind that never gives up.

Then going for a walk, along the canal as usual:

Noses in the tree
The Canal walkabout
A Canal walkabout with iHanna

Spotting neon pink even in nature, yes that should be me:

Stones and neon 2

And as I was setting up the DIY Postcard Swap (now open if you feel like joining), I got a postcard from my dear reader Regula in the mail. She sent me a darling Wüstenprinzessin as you can see:

Postcards always cheer me up. Especially pink ones with backside details that are as cute as the front collage. Details are important.

And then this weekend, a visit to the cemetery on Alla helgons afton / Halloween / Dia de los Muertos / All Saints Day. Thinking about those no longer here, lighting candles together with those that are here – my beloved family.

I hope you too are snapping photos, documenting what ever is on your table. Lots more to share, so stay tuned.
