Winter Check In

Swedish winter with snow (Photo copyright Hanna Andersson, all rights reserved)

I am in hibernation, or at least that is how it feels this week. January has been full of long, beautiful winter days. I’m enjoying them mostly from inside, looking out. The sky is blue, the sun is shining – and it is so cold. Or at least, some days. Earlier I posted the temp to my Facebook page Studio iHanna, and then looked it up via google. -18 degrees Celsius equals -0.4 degrees Fahrenheit!

Brrr…

But if you dress properly and actually go out in the early hours of the day, it’s lovely with snow. I love that white stuff!

Though indoors is more colorful…

And my desk is full of wonderful imagery, as I am slowly and and almost painfully, trying to do collagework again.

I was looking through a few paper folders that’s hidden in a bin under my desk – and wow, I’ve got so much pretty papers! It feels good to just look though it, and find inspiration within them again.

I’ll let you know how it goes…

  1. Wow, that is pretty cold! We get plenty of snow where I live, so I’m happy on the days I don’t have to shovel.

Love the pretty pinks in the last photo!

    • Thanks Aimee, yes rather cold but that was a couple of days ago. Now it’s starting to melt again – and I actually think I’ll miss the snow. I hope we’ll have some more soon.
