Camp Reset Traveler’s Notebook
This month I’m at Camp Reset most of the time, which is a free online “camp” that is about self-care, mindfulness and health. I’m using a Traveler’s Notebook to collect what I’m thinking about and learning, and today I’m sharing a video flip through of it (scroll down to see it). What are you up to?
The virtual Camp Reset I’m in is set up by Cori, also known online as The Reset Girl. I found her a few years ago when she set up her first free challenge, called Listers-Gotta-List. I’m also going to try to do the lists again this month (it has the theme of “retreats” so if’s a perfect fit).
Cori is positive force online, and her instagram is full of encouragement and happy ideas. She sells stickers and scrapbook stuff together with her husband and team – and her YouTube videos are long and full of cute paper and planner crafting. Watching her set up her ring binders and decorate her planners always makes me wanna dive in and do the same. The power of inspiration online is awesome, you know you’re “hit” with it when you just can’t stop yourself from starting new projects…
The Reset Girl is the one that got me into Traveler’s Notebooks, and I’m so grateful for that. I am still in love with that system!
Camp Reset consists of a weekly e-mail where you get your challenges, some free printables and ideas on how to work, plus Cori’s Friday Late Night Craft Club on YouTube, and a Facebook group that is a bit too crowded for me (even though I’m trying to jump in and add value there at times), but super fun and pulsating with inspiration right now.
The Camp Reset Selfie Planner
The first printables you get when you sign up is about setting up a “Selfie Planner”. A planner that is about you, that is. We got printable tabs for Health, Mindfulness, Exercise, Journaling and other ideas (and who doesn’t love using tabs to divide your notebook?).
You could use a ring binder of some sort to make a selfie planner that could be expanded and used for a long time, or use any kind of notebook.
I decided to use a regular size (that is 11 x 21 cm or approximately 4.33 x 8.25 inches) Traveler’s Notebook that I made myself about 2,5 years ago when I first got into this system. It has a card-stock cover, so I haven’t used it inside a TN cover yet, but it will be perfect for this month gratitude journaling and prompts. It has a mix of beige and pink printer papers inside, and it’s quite thick so I think I will have plenty of pages to work on.
I’m decorating the pages with the free printables found here and there online, mostly at the Listers page, and some of my pink washi – a few of them are my heart washi tape since I’m thinking this has a lot to do with self-love: taking care of mind and body is an act of self love that we all need to take serious and do daily.

I think I haven been focusing a bit too much of my time on just being creative, if that’s possible? Making stuff, cutting out cute images, gluing things down, writing in my diary and painting in my art journal makes me so happy that I sometimes forget that self-love and self-care in particular also is about exercise, mindfulness, eating (healthy) and having interesting conversations with people! I’m trying to change that, one step at a time. But for me, nothing can beat decorating and starting a new journal… Oh the joy!
Video Flip Through
Enough writing for today, here’s the Camp Reset flip through video, originally made for the Camp Reset Facebook group, but then i decided to share it with you guys too. I hope you like it.
CAMP RESET Traveler’s Notebook | Set up & Flip Through by Studio iHanna on YouTube.
I filmed it holding my android phone in one hand, and shared it without editing – but I wanted to get up quick. I hope it’s okay to watch even though it’s a bit jumpy – for some quick inspiration.
Please let me know your best self-care blog tips, healthy resources and advice on how you do it all (or not) – in the comments below. I’d love to learn more on this never-ending-journey called life…
More video: Prepping for Camp Reset
Here’s the very long and chatty video Cori made about the Camp before we got started. I didn’t “watch” the whole thing, but listened while I sat outdoors and doodled in my notebook – that’s also self-care to me.
If you can’t see the clip click here to watch Late Night Crafty Club: Prepping for Camp Reset with The Reset Girl, Cori.

Happy July friends!
Thank you for sharing about Camp Reset! I hope you have a wonderful month “at camp!” We’re heading on a trip to the U.K. and I didn’t have time to make a Remains of the Day or Venice-type travel journal, but then I remembered your posts and excitement regarding Travelers Journals. I bought a cheap one to try out on this trip and see what I think of the size, layout, etc. Thank you for the suggestion!
