December Daily Journaling + snow, baking & finished cover
Yay! My Christmas journal / December Daily is all done! I’ve filled every page of it and it is now so chunky I need the silk ribbon to close it.
I love how it turned out, with all the Hello Kitty images, the glitter tape and the yummy snowflake cover.
Before Christmas I recorded a video of how all the pages up until the 20th looked. It’s about 15 minutes of me speaking about what I added into the pages, from cut out magazine images to my own printed photos (mostly from my cell phone) and such.
I love every little bit of it, and hope you’ll enjoy watching the whole thing.
Christmas journal part 4 of 5
Here are the video filmed on the 21st of December last year:

Isn’t it lovely? I love how full it is, but not so big that you can’t close it or it starts to break.
If you have any questions about anything, just let me know.
After Christmas I finished up my journal and filmed yet another video about that, so all in all I made five videos about this one journal. But I really loved the process of both adding in bits into this journal and filming it, it was like experiencing the highlights of my December months several times (especially when I edited the video and watched the footage so many times).
Is it too much for you, please let me know. I don’t want to bore anyone, so I’d love your feedback.
Christmas journaling – the last video
Yeah, so anyway here’s the last video I will ever make on this particular journal.
In the video I share a tip on how to stop your silk ribbons from fraying, and I also finish the cover with stickers, even more pink glitter tape (!) and a label. Have a look:

Don’t you just love how glittery the cover turned out?
Also, the more I look at that softie Ty Beanie Boos I bought as a gift I think I might need him in my life. His name is Aqua in case you too feel a need of owning a blue toy fish with glitter all over! ;-)
Hmm…
Well, now that I think about it. Let’s be real, if I start to get one I’ll end up really really wanting a few friends for him, like the tiger, and then I’ll need the kitty cat, the pink giraffe, rainbow toucan bird ♥ and probably the super cute lemur as well. Just sayin. Could you resist them?
If you visit YouTube be sure to give both these two videos a thumbs up and also click the SUBSCRIBE button and allow notifications so that you see when I upload next. I’ve got a couple of videos planned already for 2019, and some will be uploaded in just a few days because I’m editing them today.
Let me know how your Christmas crafting went for you!? Did you journal it, or no?
Cheers!
I love seeing your finished journal and hearing you talk (that’s something I need to work on: talk on video… I so hate my own voice that I always try to avoid and add written text in a video but it seems so much easier to just tell while showing… my word for 2019 is ‘guts’ and I think I’ll need those to start filming and talking) Happy New Year Hanna, hug from Holland!
Great post hanna! just watched your youtube…love all of it! that fish swimming by is so fun! my december daily is finished, however, i had so many bits and pieces that wouldn’t fit, but i wanted to use them up (and not have to put them away-lol) so i made myself a “leftovers” december daily journal and am having fun finishing that up, watching your video has inspired me to do some work in it tonight! i loved seeing how you added the charms! they look great in your journal. thanks for making this series….really enjoyed it and have been inspired. xo
Really enjoyed watching your journal flip through videos and seeing all the interesting ways you incorporated your favorite bits and pieces! I hope to make a December Journal this year! Thank you for all the wonderful inspiration!
