Junk Journals & Doodle Books | release 3
A big, yummy pile of journals has hit the shop again and I wanted to share all of them with you guys in the hope that maybe you’ll be inspired or even feel the urge to buy one.
In any case, I am having so much fun doing these videos where I talk junk journals and show how I pick papers and pages for the journals I make!
- At the end of the month I release a new batch of journals in my shop. My previous batch was wee journals that was announced to the subscribers of my Newsletter, because they always get first chance to pick their favorites. If you want to be first to know when the next batch of yummy journals comes out I suggest you subscribe to the iHanna Newsletter.
Looking at Junk Journals
So, let’s take a look at what’s in the shop that is new and yummy shall we? It’s not only traveler’s notebook junk journals but also some empty page notebooks that I personally use as “doodle books”.

Here’s the pile of “Doodle books”:
Each time I see them I feel like digging up my own doodle book and fill a page or two in it. I have been using this size for years now, because it is perfect to keep in my handbag for out and about doodles.
I thought it was a fun idea to put one patterned paper in the middle of each one, almost like an end-paper but in the wrong spot:
Back pocket and printed vellum with some of my favorite words/things, that I hope will give some inspiration for what to doodle in this book too! Find the doodle books in the iHanna Shop right now!
Also, I love that all of the doodle books has “dangles” from the spine, with a few cute little beads. I think I need to do this on my next batch of junk journals too, right?
Here’s the covers of all the journals in this drop, using some of my favorite papers (wall papers and pretty scrapbook papers):
Find them in the iHanna Shop if you want to order one for yourself! Thank you for taking a look and have a beautiful day.
