Happy Mail: This is simply gold

Sharing some happy mail that I have received previously but not shared yet. This happy mail is in the form of yummy DIY Postcards of course, because that’s what we do over here. A little piece of someones personal art, sent to my mail box here in Sweden. What a joy to get so much cool art and inspiration dropping in, just like that.

If you find yourself inspired by these postcards, or like a particular one especially much, feel free to let us (me and the creators of these handmade postcards) know in the comments below. And if you want your own happy mail, check out the DIY Postcard Swap and join in on the fun – last day to join is June 1st so hurry hurry.

DIY Postcard Good morning, friend made by Sarah Gardner for iHannas DIY Postcard Swap #ihannaspostcardswap
“Good morning, friend” a handmade postcard by Sarah Gardner, long time participant.

I did not, for some reason, share any of these previously received DIY Postcards from the swap, so today I am fixing that glitch and sharing a little pile of my happy mail as I have photographed them now. All of them are beautiful and inspiring, indeed golden.

The first one is made by Sarah Gardner, and you might recognize her style and maybe even the cute flower, similar to the one that I used on a page in my mini art journal:

But let’s continue with my pile of received DIY postcards. Here are a few more:

Happy Mail – it’s in the details

To end this blog post, here are a few of the details of these postcards that stood out to me. I love the details of any mixed media art, and on postcards it does not matter if they’re on the front (art side) or the back (address side).

I love the handwriting, the greetings, the lines, the stamps, the texture, the H for Hanna.

All of it, good as gold!

DIY Postcard details. I love them all!

It’s not to late to check out the postcard swap – and join us.

If you don’t feel you have the time to make 10 postcards this time, please sign up for iHanna’s Newsletter to be notified about future swaps and other news.

Wishing you all a, hopefully, creative day.
