Collage goodies in happy mail

I got happy mail from Dede Willingham in the US. I feel so very lucky to have gotten an envelope filled with collage goodies from her, so I thought I’d show all the goodies to you guys in a quick video.

Dede (inkiwell) has been streaming on YouTube for years and years, and in the last maybe 2-3 years I have followed her YouTube channel. I usually watch the replays, but a couple of times I have popped into her live streams, which I find by accident every time because I can’t keep track of the times. And in the last one I attended, mostly lurking, I won one of her giveaways. Lucky me.

I think she does one every week, which is quite impressive and so generous, and each time she gives away two envelopes, one to someone in the states and one “international” – so that was me this time!

It took almost two whole months for the envelope to arrive. It feels like sending snail mail is now slower than ever, maybe even slower than when all of it traveled over the ocean via boat? But I am just happy it found its way here, after all.

Thank you so much Dede – I love it all and can’t wait to play with this. I love getting happy mail like this, it’s like a little taster of someone else’s stash and their taste in whats worth collecting and saving.

When we buy papers, on rolls or paper pads, we often get quite a lot. Sharing it through happy mail is such a wonderful idea I think, especially if you know pf someone who has the same interests and tastes as you do. Maybe they’ll be as happy as I was about receiving an envelope of collage goodies?
